Hi.
People who live in Georgia (country) may not get the humour of being called "Russian Georgia", especially since Russia did try to invade them not so long ago. I'm very far from Politically Correct, but in this case i think you were just unclear... Many people use "Russian" as a synonym for "USSR" (or today's "ex-USSR")... and that is a very big blunder.
