Default [Site] Cooking videos

Would you consider creating the option for models to upload videos of them cooking vegan foods?

Right now, there is no video content on Veg Porn. That could change in the future, but there's a lot more work behind doing videos, mainly transferring them from any number of odd video file formats into something I can edit on my computer. Photos are easy- that's all JPEGs I can quickly sort, add a logo to, and put online. I don't even have the hardware capabilities to take a video tape submission and get it onto my computer.

While on average videos are much sexier (especially if the sound is just right), images are much more ... aesthetic in many respects.

Also i do know that even to start editing the video it takes quite a lot of skills and effort. I think it's getting easier with some of the proprietary tools out there (i don't know exactly how easy as i refuse to use most of the proprietary software). I have attended some workshops on doing it with FLOSS but after a few days i still fall back onto that which i already known before that (which is quite basic) or learn by playing around and seeing the results.

Something does interest me... furrygirl, do you go through images one at the time to add the logo or do you automate the process in some way? (I'm probably the only person geeky enough to think about *that* when looking at photos of nude people)

It's not the editing things, it's more a compatibility issue. I don't have the means to take analog tapes, or hi-8 tapes, and digitize them and import them into my computer. Also, there could be digital incompatibility issues if someone records a video using something my computer can't read. (I use iMovie on a Mac for editing videos for my other two sites.) A lot of my models are, while not low-tech, not able to necessarily access the latest video gear, like a digital camcorder that's recording in .avi or .mpg or .mp4 or something easy. It's something I may start in the future, but I don't know how many models a) want to do videos and b) have access to digital camcorders.

I batch process the photos in Photoshop to add the logo (which is a transparent layer), but then I often re-adjust it. Sometimes it will be in the corner where the model's face it or something, so I'll move it to another corner.
