Default [Site] Having board registration issues?

Hi everyone

I've gotten a few emails saying that someone registered but never got a confirmation email and cannot post. I don't know what the issue is, since there have been successful registrations by other folk during the same time period. I justed moved and will be going out of town for a week starting on the 17th, but I wanted to let everyone know that as soon as I have a less hectic schedule, I'm going to figure out what's up with registrations.

I think the problem can be that some mail accounts sends some e-mails directly to a big spam trash bin, without even letting the user see it. I tried registering here with a lot of different mail accounts, and none worked. But then I heard that gmail is more tolerant than others regarding this, and it worked out fine (the mail came in the spam folder, but I could at least go there and read it). So if more people wants a second chance, get a gmail-account!

I just registered with no trouble a couple of weeks ago... I can't, however, upload an avatar.

Neither can I. And I can't link to one either (even though it has the right size).

My host is looking into the avatar issue. When I added mine the first time, I had no problems, but when I try to change it now, I get an error message. I think it has to do with when I switched the site to a new server, there's some little permission somehwere that needs to be changed.

If you (or any other models) want the title added, go to your user CP > group memberships > and request to join the "model" group.

Chris and Kristofski- I think the reason "model" isn't showing up under your names even though I've approved you is because you might need to go into your user control panel and tell it to identify you as a member of the group "model". If that's not the issue, let me know, and I'll add it to the list of board bugs.
