| MODELING
ON VEG PORN - from the owner/webmaster Furry Girl
Veg Porn
is always looking for models of all genders, colors, and
sizes. Whether you're a seasoned sex worker or have always
want to get naked in front of a camera, I want to see you
here! The only requirement for being on VP is a vegetarian/vegan
diet that excludes meat, birds, and fish. (Omnivores and
"semi-vegetarians" need not apply, please respect
this as a space for herbivores. There are lots of other
cool places for you to model.)
What I'm
looking for: your homemade sexy photos. Most importantly,
I need 60-80 usable sequential photos, at least 1024x768
pixel resolution, but larger is great, too. I don't need
the studio perfect look, but I do ask that what you send
in is well-lit and in focus. Before shooting, please take
a few minutes to read my photo
rules & suggestions page.
What you
get from Veg Porn: payment as soon as I accept your submission.
You'll have a bio page on VP for sharing your interests
and promoting your own sites/projects, you can opt to get
mail from viewers, and participate on our board. (Or not!
I don't coerce models into participating in the site, but
I hope you'd like to stick around.) You also get a lifetime
membership and a 20% discount code for our
vegan sex store.
The fine
print: You must be at least 18 years old to model on VP
or any other adult site. You'll need to sign a model release
with your legal full name and 2 copies of ID, one of which
must be government issued with a photo (like a passport
or driver's license.) I only buy exclusive photo sets,
so the stuff you sell to Veg Porn can't be used on another
web site or resold to other adult sites. Please make sure
to read the photo
page so you don't make a small mistake that will end up
getting your set rejected.

NEW-ISH
APPLICATION PROCESS
Of the over
1000 model application emails I'd received, I have about
30 models. This means that over 97% of people who applied
via email to be a model simply wasted my time, often asking
lots of self-conscious questions like if I thought they
were pretty, and then never submitting a set. I love getting
new models, but I grew tired of putting so much energy into
chatting with people over email who were statistically not
likely going to do anything with the site. So, I changed
over to a system of accepting models WITH SETS. This seems
to be the fairest way for me to see if people are ready
to create something.
If you would
like to apply to be a model on Veg Porn, the first step
is to read and complete the model
application / release form document found here. Then,
shoot an amazing sexy set following my guidelines.
You're welcome to mail your set on a CD along with this,
or send it via ZIP file or FTP upload (email
for that login). The address to mail your application, release,
(and set on CD) to is:

Once I receive
your application and release, I'll email you and let you
know if I am interested in the set or not. If for some reason
I decide to not accept your set, there are a number of other
great indie porn sites I can refer you to if you still want
to sell your pics.
Before you
shoot your set, please read the photo
guidelines here. You can be the cutest model in the
world with a brilliant photo theme, but if you shoot your
photos in a tiny size or with really bad lighting, your
set will still be rejected. So, to make the most of everyone's
time, spend 5 minutes reading more about what I am looking
for.
You're
welcome to email
with questions about lighting, photography, and anything
else, but please know that Veg Porn does not do applications
by email, so DO NOT email sample photos of yourself and
ask if I think you're hot enough to be on the site. You're
all sexy, so go out and shoot a great set!
COMPENSATION
I get a surprisingly
high number of emails like this: "I'm thinking about
quitting my job so I can do porn on your site and have plenty
of money to pursue the things in life I've always wanted
to do. What kind of a salary can I expect in my first year?"
Despite what
it may seem like from urban legends, "doing porn"
does not mean that you're going to spend the rest of your
days drinking champagne and lazing around a mansion in Los
Angeles in skimpy underthings. As with all industries, the
multi-million dollar adult corporations making mediocre
smut that is purchased by the masses have the lion's share
of the market, and little ventures trying to offer something
unique are lucky to take in enough to pay everyone decently
and keep their sites open, with many cute small sites failing
and going under all the time.
Veg Porn
buys exclusive photo sets at $100 per person in the photo
shoot. (Meaning, couple's sets are bought at $200, and a
threesome set would be bought at $300.) Models can also
submit naked vegan recipes and veggie restaurant reviews
for $40 per person. I don't maintain a strict buying schedule,
but I am only looking for a new photo set from the same
model every 2-3 months. I'm happy to accept more frequent
recipes and reviews than that for now, since I'd like to
fill up those sections of the site. All models who appear
on the site have been paid the same, and when I raised some
payouts at one point, I did so retroactively and sent past
models and extra bit of money.
IF I CHANGE
MY MIND, WILL YOU TAKE DOWN MY PHOTOS?
Ah, the big
newbie question that sends up red flags with all adult content
producers. The short (preventative) answer is that if you're
already very concerned about what your parents/coworkers/conservative
friends would think if they found nudie pictures of you
on the internet, you probably shouldn't be doing porn anywhere,
even on nice indie sites run by nice people.
We adult
webmasters spend more time with your photo sets than you
do creating them- so when you're asking a site to take down
an hour's worth of your work, keep in mind that you're asking
us to delete perhaps a dozen+ hours of our own work. Yes-
we all adore our models and their important contributions
to our web sites, but we webmasters put in a ton of time
into editing sets, adding new photos and models, and promoting
you as a part of our sites, so please respect the energy
we invest in the whole project, too.
To answer
the question, though: maybe. It hasn't happened yet, and
if and when it does, it will be dealt with on a case-by-case
basis.
